Dinali Alexander was born in Sri Lanka and immigrated to Canada at the tender age of three. She grew up in Misssissauga, ON where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Economics at the University of Toronto. Dinali has focused her passion for administration on the education industry, where prior to her current position as Administrative Coordinator with Ch’nook, she worked for five years as a Program Administrator for Douglas College.

Dinali also holds very fond memories of a year she spent in Klemtu, BC where she had the opportunity to work in an administrative capacity for the Kitasoo Resource Corporation. During this time, Dinali gained insight and appreciation for First Nations culture and tradition, which she is able to continue with her current position at UBC.
