Individual Giving

Ch’nook aims to significantly increase the number of students engaged in meaningful business studies across BC. Increased participation in Ch’nook will make a genuine difference in Aboriginal communities by empowering Aboriginal youth and enabling them to reach their full potential as knowledgeable and innovative members of the business community.
What your gift can do to support Ch’nook:

  • $100 provides support for one student for one day to work during a Ch’nook Scholars Gathering or Cousins regional event
  • $200 provides support for one high school student to attend a regional Ch’nook Cousins event
  • $500 provides support for food, snacks and beverages for students attending a Ch’nook Cousins event
  • $500 provides support for travel and accommodations for one student from the Interior of British Columbia to attend a Ch’nook Scholars Provincial Gathering
  • $1000 provides support for travel and accommodations for one student from Northern British Columbia to attend a Ch’nook Scholars Provincial Gathering
  • $500 – $1000 supports one student internship in a Vancouver-based organization participating in the Ch’nook Internship Program
  • $1000 – $1500 helps to offset the costs for one student to participate in Ch’nook Indigenous Business Trek organized for exceptional Ch’nook Scholars & Network Members
  • $100 – $1500 supports a range of bursaries designed to aid part time and full time business education students in successfully completing their studies in their home institution
  • $1500 and over significantly offsets tuition fees and enable one student to participate in Ch’nook’s Advanced Management Program
  • $5000 – $10,000 contributes to offsetting the cost of a Ch’nook Scholars or Cousins Regional Gathering

Other Ways to get Involved:

  • Provide mentorship for a student member of the Ch’nook Indigenous Business Network studying business or management at one of Ch’nook’s 25 Accord Partners 
  • Offer internships opportunities or other learning opportunities for Ch’nook students at your organization.
  • Recruit a Ch’nook graduate.
  • Help bring a Ch’nook Cousins workshop to your region.
